Shuffle success

Teddy bears’ picnic
On Nov. 24, in the lobby of the GM building, these cuddlesome creatures will be looking for homes. The fourth annual Teddy Bear Adoption is presented by the John Molson School of Business, and takes place from 1 to 4 p.m. They are only $10 each, or $25 for a special edition Concordia bear. You can take your new friend home, or donate it on the spot to the Montreal Children’s Hospital, where it will put a smile on a child’s face and give a bright start to the holiday season.
All proceeds support another great cause: the endowment of the Colours of Concordia Award. This scholarship will eventually be awarded to a deserving business student who has completed volunteer work that fosters greater understanding between cultures.
The Adoption is preceded by a bake sale organized by the Commerce and Administration Students Association (CASA), where those with a sweet tooth can purchase baked goodies to freeze for the holidays. Each scrumptious purchase benefits Dans la Rue for support to homeless youth.
