Alice for a day

A Mad Hatter’s Tea Party was held in Ogilvy’s fifth-floor Tudor Hall as a benefit for an unusually lavish production of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland in December. Ani Katsoulis-Bower (left) and Nicole Tan had no trouble entering into the spirit of the event.

The Geordie Productions show is full of Concordians, from Harry Standjofski, who adapted Lewis Carroll’s classic, to director Dean Patrick Fleming and designer Ana Cappelluto; many of the cast, design team and stage managers are students or grads. Fleming says playing to young audiences is refreshing: “If you’re no good, they leave.” For more, go to www.geordie.ca
