Academic Hearing Panel Report
September 1, 2005-August 31, 2006

In accordance with article 69 of the Code of Conduct (Academic), this report is submitted to the September meeting of Senate and will be published in the University’s newspaper.

There were a total 361 Incident Reports filed during the time period covered by this report. The specific breakdown and disposition of these reports, by faculty, may be found below in the table below. Of the 222 charges already upheld at the faculty level, a total of 10 Academic Hearing Panels (AHPs) were held and another 19 hearings were held over September 2006. In addition, 4 AHPs that resulted from charges upheld during 2004-2005 were held during the period covered by this report.

There was one request for permission to appeal a decision of an AHP filed during the year. Permission for an Appeal Panel was not granted.
