Sociology major Melanie Perera works part time at the Inter-Faculty Book Exchange organized by the CSU in collaboration with the four Faculty associations.
The “for students, by students” sale operates with no commission. Students set their own prices for their textbooks and coursepacks and can browse the titles online. Once a book is sold, the seller is notified via email and picks up a cheque from the CSU.

“JMSB books are in high demand,” Perera says. The sale ran from Jan. 5 to 22 on both campuses.

Used titles are also available at the Concordia Community Solidarity Co-op Bookstore at 2150 Bishop. The university bookstore also buys back used text books year-round.
