On Oct. 29, the Muslim Student Association (MSA) of Concordia organized second annual Global Pink Hijab Day to raise awareness about breast cancer. The MSA also held a bake sale, raising upwards of $500 for the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation.

The pink hijab endeavor also took place at McGill, UdeM, UQAM, John Abbott and Vanier to commemorate breast cancer awareness month.
