To get ConcordiaPix rolling, we asked Jess Elwell, Office Manager at Sustainable Concordia to be our first guest judge. The theme was “Keeping Con. U Green”. She chose this photo of the People’s Potato volunteers because:

“I think this represents where Concordia's 'green' movement comes from. Concordia has a strong history of student activism. I think it is a sense of community that inspires students, faculty and staff to work together to build a better community, environmentally, socially, and economically.

"The People’s Potato take a holistic approach to the 'green' movement, which encompasses concerns of society and economy within an environmental framework.”
