Students associated with the Concordia Institute for Information Systems Engineering (CIISE) will benefit from enhanced facilities with the establishment of the Cisco Network Security Laboratory, courtesy of Cisco Canada.

The donation of leading-edge equipment and software, valued at more than $400 000, includes a virtual private network, a firewall, remote-workforce security, intrusion prevention and advanced access control. It also includes integrated physical security, Internet Protocol surveillance and emergency-notification systems.
